Where to from here

The New Curriculum statement has been released with the Timetable for implimentation being discussions and trials in 2008, full trials in 2009 and full implimentation in 2010. This will have impacts on teachers workload again, having to revamp schemes of work and unit plans in accordance with the new documentation. Achievement standards themselves may also have to be changed to reflect the new document. It will be an interesting process integrating the components of the new curriculum into the administration and assessment materials that we have.

hopefully there will be no new major changes for a while so that we can get back to teaching.
